First of its kind in Manitoba!
The Manitoba Museum and Rainbow Resource Centre invite you to a very special Pride event 50 years in the making.
On Friday, May 26, following the traditional raising of the Pride flag at City Hall, join us across the street, in the Welcome Gallery of the Manitoba Museum, for the launch of If These Walls Could Talk: 50 years of 2SLGBTQ+ activism in Winnipeg.
Told through a variety of posters, photos, and multimedia material spanning the decades, this exhibit is the story of the fight for rights, respect, and representation for Winnipeg’s 2SLGBTQ+ community.
