Intergenerational Book Club is back and this time, we're reading two YA novels together throughout November 2025! The reveal of the novels is a surprise, but we can tell you that they are two fantasy books set in the same utopian (or perhaps dystopian?) universe where monsters run amuck and notions of identity and justice raise thought-provoking questions for readers of all ages.
This iteration of Intergenerational Book Club is being held virtually via Zoom , and is open to 2SLGBTQ+ youth ages 14 to 21, and 2SLGBTQ+ older adults aged 55+!
The book club date are:
Saturday, November 8th from 10:00am to 12:00pm (Book 1)
Saturday, November 15th from 10:00am to 12:00pm (Book 1)
Saturday, November 22nd from 10:00am to 12:00pm (Book 2)
Saturday, November 29th from 10:00am to 12:00pm (Book 2)
Folks who register will receive free copies of each book (or audio books/ebooks if preferred).
Registration is open until Tuesday, October 28th, and the books will then be announced to those registered via email!
If you have any questions about registration, attendance, or book club in general, please feel welcome to contact Youth Program Coordinator Alice at alicec@rainbowresourcecentre.org or Older Adult Program Coordinator Elizabeth at elizabethm@rainbowresourcecentre.org.
